Now then JimC, good to see you back.

Look forward to some of your old Whit ( whit I said, we have plenty of the other from Westminster).

Are you in touch with anybody from the 'old days', maybe encourage them to tell a few stories from those days.

Ship Nostalgia has quite levely discussions, always move of the original post topic , bit of banter.

Not having heard from you for so long , I thought you had been carted off to a home for the bewilded.

How's the Eastern Block young lady, still keeping you straight?

Would you like reminding of those hairy days in the company of 'Wigan'

He didn't last long in the company, maybe decided to catch a ship off the end of Wigan Pier

First trip back here for a long, long time. Surprised my Username and password are still valid lol.

Anyway, well done Jim for all your sterling work, keeping all the undesirables at bay. But more work still to do I'm afraid, as I see that Dave Fox is still slipping through the net?

🤣

"Sundays at Sea"??? What do you think this is, a pleasure cruise? Been working on this off and on since sparrows-fart and its turning into a Blue Star Half Day (12 on/12 off).

I added a picture to be sure attachments work....seems I got it right :)

Cheers

Well Jim has taken the logbook through Quadrennial, SEC and Load Line survey so nothing foreign can get down the hatches.

The coded screen might keep the hackers out, but you might keep us out, our eyes are not so good these days. Especially Red &Green for the deck side and purple and mauve for the denizens of Dingly Dell.
Hope it works.
Do we get Sundays at sea pay Jim, for working on the Sabbath.
Regards,
David the Deucer, not seducer, though I did try in the day. I can probably do it now but forgotten what to do once you have.
As an old fitter said to me, 'Put a bit of hair round it , then you'll get it in'.

I have re-enabled the logbook, with some significant hardening to resist the efforts of our Chinese and Russian friends who would like to hack us. Unfortunately, that means that all posts will have to go to moderation before they become visible. However, I will enable them as soon as possible, so the function, though slowed, should be safe and secure

Please let me know if you strike problems

Jim
